Live Scorecare - Three Quant Stock Model Portfolios

About me

  • I began investing in 1978 with Paine Webber, building decades of real market experience

  • Since then, I used a wide range of strategies: day trading, swing trading, options, mutual funds, and ETFs

  • I don’t claim to be the smartest—focus is on finding people and systems that consistently generate alpha

  • The goal is simple: leverage proven strategies to improve overall investment performance

  • I reviewed countless stock-picking services and found most lack transparency and verifiable track records

  • Too many services rely on claims instead of audited, out-of-sample results

  • My belief: if performance is real, it should come with a clear, auditable history investors can verify

  • I learned valuable lessons over the years from more experienced and knowledgeable investors many of who I have profiled on my web site.

  • I found Swing Trading and Position Trading to be the most practical and enjoyable approaches

  • These strategies allow consistent engagement without being glued to a screen all day

  • They offer a balance of active investing and maintaining a normal lifestyle

  • I recognize that buy-and-hold via mutual funds and ETFs is a strong option for many investors. I have observed that most investors struggle with individual stock selection because of lack of emotional control or a flawed investment plan.

  • I emphasize that choosing the right strategy matters more than chasing the perfect stock
